I talked about this “flag” on my radio show this morning. The “flag print” is being sold by the Obama campaign on his website. One item I did over look is worth mentioning…..it appears this could be against the US flag code:
According the United States Flag Code: “any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature. [should not be attached to the flag]“ AND “The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever.”
Decide for yourself. Is putting Obama’s campaign logo in replace of the stars (that represent the 50 states) appropriate?
Oh and don’t forget they call this product “OUR STRIPES: FLAG PRINT”…emphasis on the “OUR STRIPES”…
Anyways…
God Bless!
